Working from her studio in Cheshire Yvonne likes the challenges and diversity that working

in a variety of mediums brings, but predominantly watercolour is her favourite medium of choice it has a great colour intensity and transparency that she says lends itself well to her subjects ensuring each artwork has its own individual flair. Bringing to life a portrait

of a much loved pet or family member when working on her commissions.

 

She has exhibited work in Stockport Art Gallery

and a collection of her work can be seen permanently exhibited in local businesses, showcasing her popular 'Bramhall Hall Collection' which is a magnificent 

Tudor House dating back to the Middle Ages and is said to be one of the finest in Cheshire. Her work has also been featured in both The Leisure Painter and Cheshire life magazines.Yvonne trained as a Graphic Designer enjoying a career for 20 years in the commercial art sector, her career in fashion allowed her to travel and Art direct.

 

As an experienced art instructor she has regularly run 

and presented workshops sharing her art techniques at local art societies, this combined with a love of travel has led to her to being an Artist in Residence & Art Instructor for Fred Olsen Cruise lines, sharing her techniques and the Joy of the Journey through her love of Art.
